About This Show

Free Association Theatre presents Talley?s Folly by Lanford Wilson, with all proceeds going to directly benefit the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. The play depicts the World War II courtship of Sally Talley, the daughter of a prosperous, Southern family, by Matt Friedman, a Jewish-German immigrant who is an accountant in St. Louis. This story of two individuals struggling to bridge the chasm that separates them is part of what many consider to be Lanford Wilson?s most ambitious project, a cycle of three plays about the Talley family of Lebanon, Missouri. The production stars stage and screen veteran Alan Blumenfeld with his wife, actress Katherine James.
