Sweet Charity

The lovable dance hall hostess, Charity Hope Valentine, skips her way through this musical fairy tale which takes a look at her adventures in love in New York City. Bob Fosse-inspired dance sequences and big Broadway hit songs like “Big Spender,” “If They Could See Me Now” and “I love to Cry at Weddings” light up the jazzy Cy Coleman Score. Sweet Charity is directed by Lewis Wilkenfeld of Los Angeles and is presented by Moonlight Stage Productions.

Blankets, sweaters and jackets are encouraged for cool summer evenings, and the concessionaire, “Feliccia’s at the Moonlight,” is open before the show for dinners on the patio. For dinner reservations call (760) 758-1063 or 726-2057 at least a day in advance.
