About This Show

Robert McCullar Productions is proud to present Dale Wasserman’s stage adaptation of Ken Kesey’s novel. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is the classic antiestablishment tale of one man asserting his individuality in the face of a repressive, conformist system. Randle Patrick McMurphy thinks he has it made when he trades his life at a prison work farm for what he thinks is a short stint in a mental institution. McMurphy, however, engages in a power struggle with Head Nurse Ratched, and inspires the other inmates to take their lives back. The plays wonders, “Is it more insane to do what you are told to do or what you are moved to do by your own nature?”
