Acclaimed playwright Constance Congdon’s daring play No Mercy, winner of the Actors Theater of Louisville’s Great American Play Contest, is an important and timeless piece that intricately weaves together echoes of the 20th century in an examination of hopes and fears, possibilities and inevitabilities, and the sense of comfort – be it real or imagined – to be found in both faith and science.
