About This Show

Acclaimed playwright Constance Congdon’s daring play No Mercy, winner of the Actors Theater of Louisville’s Great American Play Contest, is an important and timeless piece that intricately weaves together echoes of the 20th century in an examination of hopes and fears, possibilities and inevitabilities, and the sense of comfort – be it real or imagined – to be found in both faith and science. The San Francisco Examiner declared that Congdon “put[s] a human face on doomsday fears and yearnings, and juxtapose[s] them across four decades in one enticingly compact, bemusing package.” Further, the Examiner praises the show for having “an oddly upbeat, if transitory, affirmation of humanity.”

This play contains nudity and is intended for adult audiences only.
