About This Show

John Corwin’s Navy Pier receives its West Coast premiere. Howard Fine directs.

Some years ago, Kurt, Martin, and Iris were in college together in Chicago. Kurt and Martin were close friends and eager competitors in all aspects of their lives. Both were struggling authors until Kurt got his big break as the winner of a New Yorker magazine competition, while Martin struggled and moved to San Francisco. Iris is an artist and has begun to build a reputation for herself in New York. The fourth member of this quarter is Liv, an art historian living in San Francisco. Although the four are far apart geographically, they are bound together by their shared history of creative passion, ambition, love, and betrayal. Navy Pier is a stunning tale of deception, regret, and the consequences of success.
