It’s Good 2 Be Crazy

A 20-something couple, Merryl and Joel, are living unambitiously in a sterile little Hollywood apartment when Merryl loses her part-time valet parking job. Making lemonade out of lemons, Joel convinces Merryl to let him support them both with his dead-end administrative job, while she devotes herself full-time to the dream of becoming a singer/songwriter. However, the solo nature of Merryl’s creative process soon leaves Joel feeling left out and anxious to see signs of tangible progress, while Merryl feels badgered and oppressed by Joel’s persistent questions and demands. When Doug, a big-time music producer and family friend, enters the picture, Merryl and Joel’s strained relationship is catapulted into crisis.
