Iron Brew and The Double Bass

The Expedition Theatre Group and The Working Stage Theater present a one-act double bill of two European offerings, Patrick Suskind’s Double Bass, directed by Alex Helfrecht, and Iron Brew, a new play written and directed by Sam Snape. The evening features international cast Yasmina Chirazi, Victoria Johnston, Alex Helfrecht, and Jorg Tittel. Iron Brew, a tale of two estranged friends in a time of confession invokes a longing for Scotland, and The Double Bass, with its original score by world-renowned film composer Joanna Bruzdowicz, explores the tragic-comic relationship between a frustrated musician, his instrument, and the woman he loves.
