The play tells the stories of 6 “Sistah’s” and how their hair defined them at certain times in their lives. You may have heard the expression, “Don’t touch a black woman’s hair” Hair is considered by some women to be their crowning glory. HAIR’itage explores the relationships a black woman has with her hair. The stories are told through scenes, monologues, song and dance
