Fired Again!

Donald Trump may have made it his catchphrase, but it was actress Annabelle Gurwitch who made Fired one of LATW’s hits of last season. Having created a book (Fired! Tales of the Caned, Canceled, Downsized and Dismissed, containing stories originated at LA Theatre Works) and a documentary film, she returns with more tales of jobs gone wrong by fellow show business veterans in the world premiere of Fired Again.

Created by Annabelle Gurwitch, the revolving cast includes actor Craig Bierko, award-winning writer/producer Scott Carter, writer Rob Cohen, playwright/actor Stephen Adly Guirgis, TV writer and producer Maxine Lapiduss, Jonathan Groff, Jeff Kahn, Tony Award-winning actress Tonya Pinkins, Brian Unger, and actress Jane Edith Wilson. Ron West directs.

All performances are recorded to air on LATW’s nationally-syndicated radio theater series, The Play’s The Thing, which broadcasts weekly on public and satellite radio.
