About this show

In the 1950's, fences lined the homes of everyday Americans. But another type of fence also existed - one that could not be seen but was felt by many, including Troy Maxson in August Wilson's Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Fences. As Troy makes strides at work, he struggles with his family while trying to stay true to himself, all the while feeling the constant bigotry around him.
