About This Show

Hero, Cain, System, Wisdom, Heroine, and Humanity are looking for answers. These archetypes search for identity in Famous Blue. A collage of seven short pieces, Famous Blue is written by Phinneas Kiyomura, the critically acclaimed author of Lydia in Bed. The playwright describes Famous Blue as, “a collage of works connected by and concerned with the fragility of identity: personal, communal, political, sexual and even material.” Famous Blue draws from such diverse influences as the music of Leonard Cohen, the writing of Harold Pinter and the style of Japanese Anime.
