A tale about a small time thief in late 70’s Philadelphia, Eulogy For A Small Time Thief tackles the realities that go on everyday in one of the cubby holes that fill the streets of this city. Miguel Pinero is one of the most widely produced modern playwrights. He is acclaimed for Short Eyes, a prison drama that was awarded the Obie and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best American Play of the 1973-74 Season. Short Eyes has been succeeded by nine other plays that have received critical praise throughout the United States.
