Defying Gravity

Jane Anderson’s Defying Gravity is a temporal exploration of space as seen through the eyes of French Impressionist Monet and a teacher/astronaut. The play explores man’s perpetual enthrallment with space flight. As Monet’s art transcends time, we see his ability to teach others to view the world from multiple perspectives. Our teacher/astronaut attempts to convey her dreams to a diverse group of individuals all serving their own dreams and desires. Cynthia Stokes directs.
