About This Show

This taught two-character play is about, Ruth Steiner, a renowned short story writer who mentors graduate students. The relationship she has with
her best student, Lisa Morrison, deepens from mentor/pupil to best friend and confidant. After a few short years, Lisa publishes her own work of fiction… or is it?

One person’s homage is another’s betrayal. How do our stories define us? Are our deepest secrets fair game when “the names have been changed to protect the innocent?”
