About This Show

The Jeanne Rimsky Theater at Landmark on Main Street presents Christine Lavin in concert. Christine Lavin is a one-of-a-kind concert of great song, adroit comedy and on stage surprise. Her interaction with audiences is rarely matched by any performer.

In May 2004 singer/songwriter/ guitarist Christine Lavin’s latest CD, “Sometimes Mother Really Does Know Best,” was released by Appleseed Records. This now brings her number of solo albums to 16, joining three “Four Bitchin’ Babes” disks, and six compilations she produced showcasing the works of dozens of contemporary singer/songwriters whose music she loves. She has won one NAIRD award, two New York Music Awards, five ASCAP composer awards, the Kate Wolf Memorial Award, and in 2001 Backstage Magazine named her “Outstanding New York Singer/Songwriter Of The Year.”
