About This Show

This season’s free production at the Williamstown Theatre Festival is the musical comedy Wing It, inspired by Aristophanes’ The Birds. Two guys decide to chuck the daily grind to go live with the birds. But achieving the dream isn’t so simple; the heroes must win over the Queen of the Birds, defeat her scheming vizier — and defend the new Cloudcuckookingdom from the plagues of humanity itself! The show encourages audiences to follow their dreams and “just wing it.”

Conceived and directed by Suzanne Agins, Wing It features a book and lyrics by Gordon Cox and music by Kris Kukul. The cast includes Jordan Barbour, Barnett Cohen, Rama Mitchell, Brooke Parks, Kate Roberts and Sarah Townsend Turner, all members of the Festival’s Non-Equity company.

Set design is by Craig Napoliello. Costume design is by Antonia Ford-Roberts. Lighting design is by Wilburn Bonnell. Sound design is by Jeffrey Strange.
