Director Stephen Daldry and playwright David Hare reunite for Wall, written and performed by Hare.
This new 40-minute piece is a meditation on the Israel-Palestinian conflict, and described as a companion piece to Berlin, Hare’s 55-minute reading about Germany’s restored capital, which he’s currently performing at the National Theatre (through March 20) as part of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The two works will be published together by Faber as Berlin/Wall later this month.
