About This Show

An original piece co-written by Kenneth Paul Drews and Dan Filowitz, National Flag Burning and Alternative Lifestyle Awareness Day: The Musical is a political satire with songs that takes aim at our current political culture. It is the year 2012, and America has become ultra-liberal. George W. Bush became liberal, too, and was reelected to a third and fourth term.

We follow the story of Thaddeus Hancock, a disillusioned young man who is compelled by mysterious forces to join up with a band of singing conservative rebels to try and take the country back. Thaddeus is selected for a secret mission to infiltrate the liberal media; while undercover he falls in love with the daughter of the man who owns the New York Times. In an action filled climax, with life and death in the balance, Thaddeus will have to choose between his heart-felt convictions and true matters of the heart.
