Godspell

After making their debut in Chicago in the summer of ’06, The School of Performing Arts returns to the city with their adaptation of Godspell, with music by Stephen Schwartz and book by John-Michael Tebelak. The show is based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, where Jesus Christ preaches through storytelling and parables. Charades, pantomimes, clowning, acrobatics, and vaudeville are used to bring the story of Christ to life!
