The Jellicle Ball is a particularly special night once a year when the tribe of Jellicle cats unite to celebrate who they are. They emerge from the darkened hiding places into a larger-than-life abandoned theater, singing of their unique abilities and special qualities. The cats are at first suspicious and proud, reluctant to allow an audience into their domain. One by one the cats step forward to showcase their talents and reveal who they are in an audition for the role to make the special journey to reincarnation.
