The Coterie Theatre’s 28th Season kicks off with an inspirational and insightful look at the impact of 9/11 from the perspective of a younger generation. with their eyes: the view of 9/11 from a high school at ground zero is a series of oral history monologues based on interviews collected from teachers, staff and students from Stuyvesant High School in New York City, four blocks from Ground Zero. These stories, with all their details and particulars, create a tapestry of experiences and viewpoints, with hope and humor, about the enormity of September 11, 2001. Avoiding tear-jerking moments, these student historians have found the natural unity that binds our disparate community.
