Bat Boy, the Musical

Combining shades of Shakespeare, Greek tragedy and classic Broadway, Bat Boy examines the human – and not so human – condition. When three teenagers discover a creature who is half-bat, half-boy in a West Virginia cave, a story of young love is set in motion against the backdrop of a town that must examine its own issues with intolerance and inhumanity. Will the townspeople open their hearts to this unusual boy who longs for acceptance, or vilify him because he is different?
