About This Show

The Young Playwrights Festival culminates with four winning plays:
You Can’t Handle the Truth by Natasha Dyer is the story about a journalist who interviews a group of eccentric neighbors about a crime that they witnessed. The group bickers and confuses the matter so that no one can agree on what happened.
Triptych by Ruth Martin is three short comedic pieces about different takes on motherhood.
Untitled by Lisa Morrow is a comedy about a lonely and awkward teenaged girl who escapes from her anxieties by fantasizing about being a Hollywood celebrity.
Waves by Stephen Ptacek is about a lifeguard who tries to help a mentally ill man and accidentally becomes the target of a stalker.
