Twice Told

Twice Told is an adaptation of three stories by the 19th century American novelist and short story writer Nathaniel Hawthorne. Set during the earliest years in this nation’s history, Hawthorne’s tales examine love, belief and the nature of good and evil. A young man loses his faith in humanity during a midnight stroll with a mysterious stranger. A woman loses the love of her life when he decides to hide his face behind an ominous mask. A scientist performs an experiment that will destroy what he loves best.
