Nathan Allen directs Puntila and his Man Matti, by Bertolt Brecht.
Puntila is a well-to-do land-owner who’s the soul of fraternity and
good-will when drunk, but when he suffers one of his attacks of
sobriety he’s a terror to everyone around him, especially his daughter
Eva and his long-suffering chauffer Matti!
Brecht’s play features the author’s famous blend of social observation and high comedy mixed in with original live music and dancehall hijinx for good measure. It’s an intoxicating brew for the eyes, ears and head!
