About This Show

Apple Tree Theatre presents Oliver Mayer’s drama, Joy of the Desolate. Directed by Gary Griffin, this is the story of a young Native American man determining his identity as he moves from the “Rez” to acceptance at an Ivy League school. To find his voice, D.C. joins the choir and begins an odyssey into the secrets of great music.
