Founder and driving force behind behind Neutral Milk Hotel and one of the co-founders of Athens, GA’s Elephant 6 Collective, Mangum is one of America’s most enigmatic and beloved songwriters. Performing in Chicago for the first time since the demise of Neutral Milk Hotel in 1998 and following his reemergence at this year’s All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in Asbury Park, this show may offer Chicago audiences a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness Mangum perform live. $1.00 from each ticket will directly benefit Children of the Blue Sky.
