About This Show

Noirthwestern University presents the world premiere of A Long Gay Book, a new chamber musical based on the writings of Gertrude Stein. Northwestern theatre faculty member Frank Galati adapted Stein’s texts for the stage and he also will direct the production. The music is by Stephen Flaherty, the recipient of the 1998 Tony Award for his original musical score for Ragtime. Marc Robin is the choreographer and Brad Haak the musical director.
