About This Show

Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird replaces the previously announced Terms of Endearment. Paul Barnes directs.

Set in a small Alabama town in the 1930’s, the story is narrated by Jean Louise “Scout” Finch, the daughter of Atticus Finch, a lawyer who, despite threats to himself and his family, defends a black man accused of assaulting a white woman. In the stage adaptation (by Christopher Sergel), the narrator of the story, a grown-up Scout, looks back at her childhood, delivering a powerful message about prejudice, injustice, and humanity.
