About This Show

Stages Repertory Theatre will present the Douglas Mitchell Play Festival, which will features six shows by the playwright-in-residence. The six shows are:
Week One:
Old Friends – Two older men meet on the street. Have they known each other before?
All Wrapped Up – The arrival of an unexpected package sparks terror for a dull married couple.
Week Two:
Any Old Passion – A party celebrating an open marriage brings surprises to a young married couple.
Loss of Interest – A woman wanting to be free from a husband who loves her too much, too oftnen and too ardently finds the cost of a divorce shockingly exorbitant.
Week Three:
How to Sacrifice a Child – An isolated rural family devises a bizarre defense against the outside world.
Shatter the Golden Vessel – A young man sentenced to die has a social encounter with his executioner, whose caring indifference compels him to an evaluation of his life and death.
