About This Show

Anne of Green Gables is the first of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s eight classic stories that have drawn attention world wide for just under 100 years. The story evolves when Matthew Cuthbert comes home to his sister, Marilla, with a redheaded orphan girl, Anne Shirly, and not a boy. Anne is told that she will not be allowed to stay at Green Gables until Marilla and Matthew realize they don’t know how they ever lived without her. She wins the hearts of all of those on Prince Edward Island with her wit and imagination.
