Eric Vanden Eykel will discuss the Magi and how a story of only twelve verses went on to create a rich literary and artistic tradition. He will discuss the birth of the Magi story, its enrichments and its artistic expressions, and its legacy in our modern culture. Join us to hear how the Magi story has elicited fascination in the last two thousand years and what its legacy tells us about its storytellers—and ourselves.
