The Enchantment Theatre Company presents Pinocchio–The Adventures of a Puppet as part of the theatre’s “School Day Performances” series.
Weaving together original music, physical theatre, masks, puppetry and magic, the Enchantment Theatre Company eloquently tells Carlo Collodi’s charming fable of the adventures of a puppet who becomes a real boy. On his fantastic journey from a humble piece of wood to human boy, Pinocchio strays in the most human of ways, but his kind heart and his love for Geppetto and The Blue Fairy guide him as he learns and grows. Imaginative storytelling and evocative theatrical effects enhance this innovative production: Pinocchio’s nose grows to over 5′ long; Geppetto and Pinocchio are swallowed by a huge shark; and Pinocchio is magically transformed into a real boy!
