Equal parts camp comedy and drama, Robert O’Hara’s Insurrection: Holding History explores a modern day graduate student who travels back in time with the world’s oldest man, to the south of 1831 and finds love with another man during the Nat Turner slave rebellion. This reading is presented in partnership with Emory University and The New Jomandi, and it will be followed by a talkback with the playwright.
