About This Show

Xperimental Puppetry Theatre, better known as XPT, emerged in 1984 as a forum for original, avant-garde puppetry theatre. Artists of all disciplines — puppeteers, painters, musicians, actors, writers — Xpress themselves in collaborative, quirky vignettes inspired by short stories, contemporary crises (such as AIDS), visual arts exhibits and even newspaper columns (like “The Blotter”). As a vital part of XPT, the audience is free to dialogue with the artists following each show. You are the id to the artist’s superego, the yin to the yang, Mona Lisa to DaVinci, Pinky to the Fonz. Don’t go for second best . . . Xpress yourself!

Ages 18 and up only.
