About This Show

A plush, stuffed bunny is discovered by a young boy as the sweet story of The Velveteen Rabbit unfolds. Shy and snubbed by his mechanical boy companion, the rabbit has just one wish: to become “real.” Lorna Howley utilizes hand and rod puppets, rod puppets and marionettes to bring this story to life, while Tom Jenkins’ gentle score and Elaine Williams’ colorful set beautifully capture the story’s magical appeal. Puppeteers are Lily Yancy and Nevin Miller.

Admission price includes a Create-A-Puppet Workshop and admission to the Museum and special exhibits.
