About the Show
The It Girl is a Jazz Age Cinderella musical based on It, the 1927 film that made Clara Bow a star. In this affectionate homage to the period’s innocence, a poor but adorable showgirl falls for the dashing head of a department store and madcap merriment ensues as she captures his heart and the heart of all New York. The It Girl is a funny, sweet and joyous salute to an era when the music was colorful, right and wrong were black and white, and the girl who had “It” had it all.
