Proof

Proof tells the story of Catherine, an enigmatic young woman who has faced the challenges of caring for her brilliant but unstable mathematician father. As she struggles with the affections of one of her father’s former students and with her older sister’s efforts to control her, she wonders how much of her father’s madness–or genius–she has inherited. The play received both the 2001 Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
