About This Show

Torch and twang unite with folk, rock, and modern country in an ode to female songwriters of the 20th century. Guitar Girls celebrates the contributions of America’s female singer/songwriters. The Weavers and the Carters were some of the earliest “guitar girls,” and their work helped pave way for the women who have used their songs to voice their social conscience. From Carole King to Janis Joplin, the show celebrates the unique songwriting perspective these women brought to their music.

There are performances on select Wednesdays at 6:00pm and 9:00pm, and select Fridays at 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
