Ballet For Young People: Carnival of the Animals

Three Poachers are stealing wild animals in the African Savannah. Some children and an older sister, who are on a picnic, watch them capture a beautiful white swan. They save the swan and release the other captured animals with the help of the lead poacher, who has fallen in love with the older sister. The ballet ends in a great celebration of life, love, beauty and a rediscovering of humans’ similarity and connection to the animal world. They rejoice in their ability to restore the balance in nature and our planets eco-system.
