Vienna: Lusthaus (revisited)
$16.00 - $32.00
After leaving the dance group Pilobolus, Martha Clarke branched out to create ?music theater? works that embrace a specific time and place. Created in 1986, Vienna: Lusthaus (revisited) evokes Vienna from the turn-of-the-century to the First World War, a notably fragmented place and time, with the city in moral decay and concealed emotional turmoil. Through dance, music, mime, tableaux and words, this unique piece creates images that may be dreams in the city where Freud practiced.
