The Reality Buffet

A new form of the “reality” show takes the stage at Detroit’s Matrix Theatre this fall when Motoprism, Detroit’s newest theatre company, opens The Reality Buffet. Unlike television or film-based reality shows, The Reality Buffet serves up a series of very short plays based on the lives and experiences of the Motoprism cast. Each 2-3 minute play is selected by the audience in random order, keeping the actors at the top of their game for the hour-long performance. From outlandish comedy to serious moments, The Reality Buffet is theatre you can sink your teeth into.
