Description – “Something wicked this way comes…” Three witches' prophecy to a proud warrior that he will be king of Scotland – but will it be through his own actions or the decisions of others? A violent and intense tale of controlling ambition and scruples ignored, The Tragedy of Macbeth is one of Shakespeare’s most famous and admired works filled with unforgettable speeches, scenes, and characters.
Bard Talks – held in the Biltmore Studio beginning at 7 p.m. before all Friday and Saturday evening regular performances. Plan to arrive early as the Artistic Director and other company members share insights about the theatrical history of the plays and the theatrical techniques that are being used in the productions.
Talk Backs – held after all preview and matinee performances. Chat with the directors, actors and designers; and get a better understanding of what goes on behind the scenes!
About Ticketing:
No refunds. All children, including those held on laps require a ticket for performances at the Village Theater.
This venue is a wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair/accessible seating.
