Lava and Bones

The Canadian performance group, Mortal Coil, uses puppetry, stilt dance and song to bring geologic events to life in this visually stunning production. When two characters travel back in time in search of a dinosaur, they discover an amazing prehistoric world. Along the way, witness an exciting volcano dance on stilts and roller-blading “rocky” players giving tectonic body checks. Look out for earthquakes and the fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex — a 14-foot stilted beast with teeth to match — in the fun and artistically clever Lava and Bones.
