About This Show

Betty Yearn, a small town girl, and her teenage son Bert have
traveled to
Greenwich Village to lure her drug-addicted, porn star sister Rosalie home.
When
Rosalie is killed in a freak bicycle accident, Betty decides to stay and
assumes her
sister’s identity. Bert, who has taken to the streets of New York, falls
into the life
of petty crime and is murdered.
Betty is the prime suspect in her son’s death.
The play, a dark comedy with music, is narrated in a burlesque-cabaret style
by the
dead Rosalie, who observes the action with a mix of sardonic humor and
tender pathos.
