Casa Mañana prents a two-day engagement of the nationally touring production Broadway Junior on Tour: After Schoolsical Special. A perfect introduction to musical theater, the show features the biggest blockbusters from three Broadway classics all in the span of an hour.
The Broadway Junior Club students have a problem: they can’t decide which show to perform for the club’s annual all-school musical. They narrow it down to three choices: Into the Woods Junior, Dear Edwina Junior, and The Music Man Junior. The group decides to present a few songs from each show and then vote on which show to do. At first, things go smoothly, but eventually everything falls apart. The students can’t stop arguing about which show to do and who has the most important job. Finally they realize none of that matters. The only thing that does matter is that they work together and respect each other’s contributions.
