This song and dance-filled spectacular pays tribute to the Grandfather of the American Musical, composer, choreographer, director, producer, and actor, George M. Cohan, whose speedy staging and dynamic dances left a lasting impression on the musical form. George M! highlights the most instrumental milestones of the famed man’s life, including his family, his shows, his longtime relationship with co-producer Sam Harris and his unforgettable songs. The musical is written by Michael Stewart and John and Francine Pascal, directed by Greg Ganakas and choreographed by Randy Skinner, with lyrics and musical revisions by Cohan’s daughter Mary Cohan.
