Perry’s All Eyes Watched for Freedom takes place on Freedom’s Eve, December 31, 1862 as everyone gathered across the nation, anxiously awaiting news that the Emancipation Proclamation had actually become law. This new musical tells the story of how two and a half years passed before the news reached Galveston, Texas.
