Life Alert – Ember

This is a world debut for new work Life Alert. The play explores family, duty, and dreams with a comedic but heartfelt lens. Retired teacher Annie is eager to restart her playwriting career. But, when her mother has a sudden fall she must come to live with Annie and her husband on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, disturbing Annie’s hope for peace and quiet.

To keep our performers, staff, audiences, and their families safe masks are required while in the theatre and proof of vaccines are required to enter MadLab Theatre. Please show your vaccine card or a photo image of the card and a photo ID at the box office. If you are not vaccinated due to a documented medical condition, you may show a negative Covid test that is within the last 72 hours. We know all of this is
