The Ant Queen’s New Clothes is a musical adaptation ? with an insect twist ? of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic The Emperor’s New Clothes. Queen Antie rules a tiny insect village and boasts of being the wisest insect she knows. She offers one half of the kingdom’s treasury to any bug who can weave the most gorgeous clothes ever made and the other half to anyone who can make her believe something is real when it actually is not. Two spies from a neighboring kingdom plot to win the contest and embarrass Queen Antie.
